Hotel Le Morgane (Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France)

Mont Blanc, Brévent and Les Aiguilles forms a beautiful backdrop to this hotel. Many guests had a relaxed time in these surroundings and enjoyed views of these mountains from their private balcony or terrace.

Le Morgane is located in the city centre and is just 1-minutes’ walk from the Chamonix-Aiguille du Midi train station and the Aiguille du Midi cable car. There is also a bus stop just outside of the hotel’s entrance. The hotel offers free ski storage and the staff are helpful in arranging ski passes. After-ski relaxing activities include swimming in the heated indoor pool and having a sauna or steam bath.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and serviced by housekeeping daily. Most guests found the rooms to be comfortable and spacious.

Some guests complained that the bathrooms were uncomfortably small and that there was insufficient storage space for toiletries and other items. Other guests found that there was also insufficient storage space for clothing as there was minimal or no shelving offered and the cupboards were too small.

Housekeeping seem to be generally reliable, however there were a few instances in which the rooms had not been cleaned properly after previous guests.

While the quality of the breakfast was not criticised, many guests commented that the breakfast menu was expensive for what was offered. There are other restaurants that you can try, many of which are within walking distance in the town centre. Guests recommended to check the opening times however, as shops and restaurants may be closed during particular times of the year.
