Hotel Le Manoir des Impressionnistes (Honfleur, France)

This hotel is in a lovely location on a hill with a view. You can watch the river meet the ocean while relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine. It's a very peaceful and calm setting that is perfect for some relaxation.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly to all of their guests. They are quite willing to help you out with some directions and are very patient with English speakers that are trying out their French. A very warm country style welcome.

The spa at this hotel is open to both guests and non-residents, and it's easy to see why the locals love this place. The treatments are top notch, and the place is very nicely decorated. Some guests have said that it is one of the most calming places they have been.

This is by no means a cheap hotel so it comes as a surprise to some guests to find that they must pay for breakfast. They aren't too happy that it's so expensive too, and even kids must pay a high rate. There are better options in the town.

It's not a major complaint, but when you are paying so much to stay in a room, it would be nice to have the option of tea or coffee in the evening without ordering room service. This is now seen as a basic amenity in many hotels.
