Hotel Le Manoir d'Auteuil (Québec-City, Canada)

This was by far what most impressed guests about the hotel. They were completely bowled over by the interior design, which was said to be immensely attractive. They also mentioned that the designers seemed to pay attention to every little detail, creating a space that was very stylish, but somehow still homely.  The general feeling seemed to be that if guests could somehow put their rooms in their suitcase and spirit them off back home they would have done so.

It wasn't only the design that impressed, but the service as well. This is a boutique hotel, which guests said is very well run by its owner, Linda. She was said to lead from the top, by delivering excellent customer service. The rest of the staff seemed to follow her lead, with it being very unusual to read a guest review that did not have strong praise for pretty much all of the hotel's staff.

Guests couldn't have been any happier with the location of the hotel. They had come to Quebec City to be lost in the atmosphere of Old Quebec, and so where happy to be right in the heart of the walled city and able to simply stroll to all the attractions and amenities they wanted.

It was pointed out that, like most historic properties in Old Quebec, this one does not have a lift, requiring all guests to climb at least one flight of stairs to their room. Those with mobility issues should take note.
