Hotel Le Hameau de Passy (Paris, France)

This hotel is comparatively small, and has a distinct feeling of Parisian character. Comments from guests indicate that the level of service from the staff is good. The quiet location is a potent plus factor. This hotel represents good value for money.

The rooms are very clean and quiet, with comfortable beds and the hotel is in a good location, for both tourists and business travellers. There is a hire bike rack nearby. Guests who attended OECD conferences nearby found the hotel to be an ideal base. There were differing comments on the size of the rooms, however on balance it would seem that the accommodation is reasonable bearing in mind the norm in Paris. American visitors may find rooms to be a bit on the small side.

The breakfast is good, however guests should not expect a full English style of meal to sustain them throughout the day, neverthess there are numerous good cafés nearby in which to fill up.

It was felt that the hotel would do well to employ a porter as there is no lift, and access up the winding and narrow stairways would prove difficult for elderly or less agile guests.

The Wi-Fi connection was not entirely reliable. The shower is rather small. Despite being advised of a broken light in one of the guest rooms nothing was done about it. The breakfast room is rather small and a guest found it claustrophobic. The breakfast itself would be improved by the inclusion of some fruits and yoghurts.

Guest were taken aback that the taxi ordered through the hotel wanted to divert on the way to the airport to pick up other passengers. They found another taxi: worth bearing in mind if you are catching a flight.
