Located in Bangkok’s vibrant Sukhumvit neighbourhood, Le Fenix Sukhumvit is an ultra chic property offering leading edge accommodation and is ideal for those interested in nightlife and shopping. The rooms are the very height of contemporary design, and are equipped with air conditioning, flat screen TV’s and every other amenity you’ll need for a great city stay. Reception is staffed around the clock and can assist with basic concierge services and laundry. Tuk-tuk transfers are provided to the nearest BTS station. The L3 Eatery serves both Asian and Western cuisine in a trendy environment, while the hotels rooftop bar, Nest is well known as one of Bangkok’s best. The main attraction is perhaps the surrounding neighbourhood, known far and wide for its excellent shopping, dining and nightlife. Those heading further afield will find the opulent Grand Palace and the tranquil Wat Pho temple complex both just five miles west of Le Fenix Sukhumvit.
Guests were pretty pleased with the location of the hotel. They liked the immediate neighbourhood itself, saying it held much of interest, and were also happy that the nearest BTS station was a reasonable distance away - either a shortish walk or very quick tuk-tuk ride.
The majority of guests who brought up the question of value for money felt that they received good value, saying that the room rate was quite low for such a well placed hotel.

Although the interior design of the rooms is very modern and leading edge, like many rooms like this, guests report that time has been unkind. Guests said that the rooms, though presumably not very old, were already looking a bit frayed and tattered, with a quick refresh, at the very least, being in order.
On the while, guests were not impressed with the food at any of the hotel's restaurants or bars. Breakfast came in for especially harsh criticism, with many guests saying that the menu never changed from day to day and what was served was very poor quality.
Far too many guests for comfort complained about the staff at this hotel. Most said, in effect, that they simply didn't offer good customer service, with their lack of friendliness often being highlighted. To many, they certainly did not live up to the nation's “Land of Smiles” motto.
