The agritourism “Le Chiancate” is located in a fifty-hectare natural oasis, far from the traffic and bustle of the city. Set in the heart of the Gargano Nature Park, at an altitude of 870, it may be easily accessed from the main towns of the area, such as Vieste (60 km), San Giovanni Rotondo (15 km), Monte Sant’Angelo (25 km) and our very own green lung, the Umbrian Forest (approximately 40 km). We specialize in nature itineraries, offering avid trekkers a variety of routes, with varying levels of difficulty which go from easy to complex. We’ve also planned original mixed-terrain mountain bike tracks for true enthusiasts. And the offer wouldn’t be complete without horse riding trails which were once drover’s roads and mule tracks used for migratory herding. Lastly, we’ve made about 40 km of off-road routes where you can go for a breathtaking ride with your four-wheel-drive. Our hospitality structure can host students on an educational excursion, families in search of adventure and healthy nourishment, thanks to our organic products with zero food miles, and couples or groups of young people who want to engage in exciting activities in some of the most pristine and untouched landscapes in Gargano.
