Lanzarote Green Villas is a small complex of whitewashed villas in the Playa Blanca area of Lanzarote, one of  the Canary Islands. The accommodation comprises brightly decorated rooms and tiled floors, with Wi-Fi, sofa and flat screen television in the lounge. There is also a dining area, plus a kitchenette with microwave, oven, coffee maker and hob.  Exterior spaces at Lanzarote Green Villas include a terrace with sunbeds and a dining/BBQ area. Parking is available and there is an attractive outdoor swimming pool for guests’ use.  The nearest beach is a 5 minute walk from the complex. A useful supermarket is nearby and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in Playa Blanca itself. A few minutes away, ferries leave the port of Playa Blanca for the nearby island of Fuerteventura.  The journey to Lanzarote Airport takes approximately 40 minutes.

Well maintained complex.

It’s only a small complex, but ‘villas’ are clean and well furnished. They sleep up to 4 people comfortably. Kitchens are particularly impressive and well equipped.

Friendly staff.

Very welcoming and friendly, there’s even a (*very useful!) welcome pack. This contains milk, coffee, preserves, biscuits, sugar, butter and ham; many of the items you’ll need on your self catering holiday.

Quiet position.

It’s only a few minutes into Playa Blanca by car, or a 20 minute walk. That’s where the action is. It’s quieter here.

Unheated moments.

The outdoor pool is unheated so fine in the high season summer months. At other times, ‘bracing’ is one description; the other one isn’t printable! Chilly to say the least!

Paying the price for peace + quiet.

Obviously, if you’re opting for some peace and quiet, the price you pay is that shops, bars and restaurants aren’t on the doorstep. They’re only a few minutes away but to reach them quickly, you do need a hire car.

Watch the neighbourhood.

Peace and quiet is a thing of the past when the neighbours crawl back noisily in the early hours. Seemingly, too, they didn’t incorporate soundproofing when designing the villas.
