The rooms and suites have uber-trendy décor and furniture, and of course all the practical amenities you need for a business or leisure trip, including everything from high-tech entertainment systems to soundproof windows. The hotel has excellent business facilities, including a range of meeting and function rooms. There’s also a fitness centre where you can fit in that workout and a spa for a bit of pampering. There are an incredible five restaurants at Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport, ranging from the elegant Ming Court, where you can sample Cantonese delicacies, to the Portal, a vibrant resto-lounge that serves light meals and cocktails to the party people. Langham Place Beijing Capital Airport is just across the exit ramp from Beijing Capital Airport’s Terminal Three and is ideal for those passing through there.
Going through the reviews, one got the message that guests considered the hotel very self-contained, containing pretty much all they needed, at least for a short stay. Unlike many other hotels, where guests feel they must seek out restaurants or other services elsewhere, guests here were quite happy to stay at this hotel and meet all their needs there.
Of course, pretty much all the guests at this hotel were flying into or out of Beijing Capital Airport. They mentioned that there simply couldn't be a more convenient location for an airport hotel, unless it was actually right in the terminal.
Guests were very impressed with the restaurants at the hotel. There are five of them and it was near impossible to find a bad review of any of them. Guests seemed quite content to satisfy their hunger at one of the hotel's restaurants, and were confident that they would not be disappointed.
The hotel provides a free shuttle for guests arriving at Terminal Three. A number did find it difficult to actually find it, with the size of the terminal and the large number of different shuttles vying for position outside, causing quite a bit of confusion.
An extraordinary number of guests reported that their check-in seemed to drag on forever and ever. Thy couldn't really see any reason for it taking so long, and of course after what was often a very log flight they simply wanted to get to their rooms and crash.
A number of guests had difficulty communicating with front of house staff in English.
