Langdale Lodge is owned and run by the husband and wife team of Tony and Karen who greet every guest with a warm welcome and make sure that all of their needs are seen to, making each and every guest feel special and important.
There are only three guest rooms in total and each is decorated in its own unique style with a simple layout. The main suite features its own en-suite bathroom while the other two smaller guest rooms share a bathroom. All are kept spotlessly clean and everything is very well-maintained.
Langdale Lodge is in the heart if the Lake District and is idyllic and peaceful with beautiful scenic walking paths to enjoy. The lodge even has its own private fishing lake along with picnic spots and barbecue areas.
The Lake District is a popular destination and can get quite busy during high season. Langdale Lodge also offers a caravan and camping facility which means that the entire area can get quite full so it is advisable to pick the best time to visit if more peace and quiet is preferred.
Guest room décor is quite quirky and traditional which some could see as dated and odd, this may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for those more used to a modern hotel look and feel.
Langdale Lodge is strictly a bed & breakfast establishment and does not offer any lunch or dinner options. The owners do however offer a free shuttle service to Lincoln and advice on the best places for dinner.
