Hotel Lamai Wanta Beach (Lamai Beach, Thailand)

The people that work at this hotel are extremely helpful and will assist you in anything at all. From recommending places to eat and drink to arranging car hire, there's nothing that they won't take on.

The location of this hotel is ideal in that the beach is on your doorstep. The pool overlooks the beach, and you can be in the ocean within a few steps. The village is right behind the hotel, so there are plenty of places to buy your souvenirs.

Even though this hotel is a little old in places, guests have found that the majority of public areas and the rooms were spotless. It's not easy keeping a place by the beach free of sand, but the housekeeping staff do a very good job.

The rooms at this hotel are fine for a few nights, but some guests find them a little too basic for an extended stay. Things like the screen over the bathroom window with no glass bothered them and made them feel that is was a little overpriced.

The pool looks like an ideal place to relax and soak up some sun, but many guests had no opportunity to do so as there simply weren't enough. They always seemed to be reserved first thing in the morning by other guests.

There is free Wi-Fi available at this resort, but some guests couldn't find any signal at all. The hotel probably needs to install some signal boosters as it all depends on where your room is located.
