Guests who have attended an event here, whether it be a business meeting or a wedding, often comment on how well organised functions are. The catering and service from staff are both to be commended.

The grounds of this hotel are a highlight in themselves. Guests enjoy walking in the gardens and parkland and many took the opportunity to squeeze in a spot of fishing. When you do want to venture out, many attractions are within a reasonable driving distance.

Although there are a few exceptions to this, the majority of guests found the rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable furnishings. Rooms offer a decent selection of amenities although a few guests do mention that they encountered issues with the Wi-Fi.

A number of previous guests have described the soundproofing between adjacent rooms as very poor. Also, it seems that some rooms are situated near the bar or the permanent marquee and thus are within earshot of the music.

Some past guests have found the menu in the restaurant a little limited and focussed on meat and pork products. Since the menu doesn't seem to change very often, this might present a problem for any vegetarian guests or those with specific religious beliefs.

While area attractions are within reasonable driving distance, guests have occasionally found the location of this hotel a little secluded, with no pubs/restaurants in walking distance. Some guests question the suitability of the hotel for children due to the limited on-site and nearby amenities.
