The 44 rooms are simply, but comfortably, furnished and decorated. They feature all you’ll need for a good stay, including coffee maker, minibar and cable TV. The comfortable lobby lounge has one of the biggest trophy fish collections in Alaska and is a great spot to relax or socialise. The reception is open 24/7 and a free airport shuttle is available for guests. Simple pastries and hot drinks are available every morning, but there’s a decent number of fast food places and restaurants nearby, including McDonalds. Lakeshore Inn & Suites is barely a mile from the Ted Stevens International Airport, while those heading into downtown Anchorage will find it just 3.5 miles to the north.
Going by the reviews, it seems that many guests staying here were on airport layovers. To this end they found the location fantastic, saying that the hotel was no more than a couple of minutes drive from the terminal. Those who did not have their own car mentioned that there was a shuttle available and it seemed to work just fine.
