Hotel Lakes Jakaranda Holiday Units (Lakes Entrance, Australia)

Guests absolutely loved the location of the units, with this being perhaps the main reason for booking here. They reported that it was just a minute or two to get to the village or beach.

Going through the reviews, it became clear that guests were very pleasantly surprised with the amount of space they had in their unit. They had clearly been expecting much less, but even those travelling as boisterous families felt that there was more than enough space for each member.

Pretty much all the guests who brought up the question of value for money and there were a few, felt they had received excellent value. The main reasons for this were what most regarded as very reasonable room rates, together with the incredibly central position.

This was by far what most upset guests during their stay. They reported that the units had clearly not been updated for some time, and that they were now looking very outdated. Most reckoned that they desperately needed a full makeover at this stage.

There were far too many complaints about rooms being a bit dirty on check in for comfort. The specific complaints ranged from dirty carpets to stray hairs in the bathroom, but whatever they were they resulted in a poor first impression for some.

Guests explained that, perhaps due to the prime location of the building, there were no real public facilities onsite. e.g. They would have liked to have an outdoor area were their kids could play safely, but there was no facility for this.
