Lake Of Shadows Hotel is in the perfect location according to most visitors, where the beach is within a five minute walk in the one direction, and the main street, with its many shops, restaurants and other small eateries is in the other direction, making it really convenient to almost all guests.
A few visitors felt that many of the fixtures and fittings had reached the end of their time, and the hotel would benefit from updating the rooms and the decor in the public areas. Guests also felt that the bathrooms could do with an overall too.
Some visitors found the rooms to be a bit on the cold side on arrival, and would have preferred them to be warmed up beforehand. Regardless; if you request management to turn it up a bit, they will happily oblige.
