Situated in a great position near the shores of the lake, Lake Havasu Travelodge offers chain hotel reliability and some decent leisure amenities. The rooms are simple, but have been recently remodeled. Each features luxury linens, TV with cable channels, minibar, microwave, free Wi-Fi and much more. Lake Havasu Travelodge is a pet-friendly property, so feel free to bring along your four-legged friends. Business guests will find a center dedicated to their needs on-site and techies will be happy that Wi-Fi is free and accessible throughout the property. A simple continental breakfast is provided every morning. There are a couple of restaurants in the area, so you won’t go hungry for the other two meals. Scotty’s Broasted Chicken is a casual eatery with high ratings and serves so much more than just chicken. There are so many activities on and around the lake, you’ll never get bored. “London Bridge” is 1.4 miles away.
This was perhaps what guests most appreciated about the hotel. They felt that it was both near the lake shore, and also close to the attractions and activities on offer in the area. Considering that it as a budget hotel, they felt it had an excellent central location.
While guests conceded that the hotel was hardly anything fancy, the felt that the room rates were very reasonable. Taken together with the fact that they really liked its location, many concluded that they had received very good value for money.
While not actually on-site a number of guests mentioned this restaurant by name. It was said to be just beside the hotel and to offer terrific Italian cuisine that guests really enjoyed.
A couple of guests mentioned that that could hear sounds from adjacent rooms quite easily. Noise from the room above was said to be a particular problem. In any event, guests didn’t think that adequate soundproofing measures had been taken.
While guests didn’t usually explain exactly what it was that they disliked about the breakfast, there were quite a number of comments indicating it was inadequate. It seems they may have felt it didn’t have enough variety to generate interest.
While it was unclear why guests expected one, they were disappointed to find that the hotel does not have a pool. They would clearly have liked to be able to take a refreshing dip on particularly sweltering days. The hotel does have an indoor hot tub, but that was appreciated more in winter.
