La Vista Azul Resort overlooks Turtle Cove, offering travellers an idyllic location within a ten-minute drive of Grace Bay Beach. Mediterranean-inspired architecture features throughout the resort. Featuring fully equipped kitchens with granite countertops, each of the air-conditioned rooms boasts a private balcony, and pool or distant sea views. Modern amenities include flat-screen TVs, a personal safe, and the convenience of a coffee-maker. An outdoor pool with umbrellas, sun loungers, and two hot tubs provides guests with an opportunity to relax, while a rooftop terrace and manicured gardens do the same. At the end of a long day, a basketball court and fitness centre are a great way to shake off the stress. Guests can grab a bite to eat and a choice of ice-cold beverages at Restaurant Simone’s, or visit the on-site convenience store to stock up on daily necessities. The beautiful Turtle Cove Marina, where there's a hive of activity, is less than a five-minute walk from La Vista Azul Resort.
La Vista Azul Resort is centrally located, in a quiet neighborhood, a few minutes’ walk from the beach and the Turtle Cove Marina. Guests say you will be close to everything in the area, and there is a lovely local coffee shop basically next door. There is also nightlife and casinos nearby. For shopping, you can visit Grace Bay, only a three-mile drive away.
Guests loved the heated pools and hot tubs. They are not crowded and feature great views. If you prefer peace and quiet, one of the pools is restricted as adults-only.
Guests really enjoyed having a private furnished balcony in their spacious rooms, as well as the provided in-room amenities. Even if you’re not staying long term, you’ll find that the fully-equipped kitchen is very convenient, as is the washer and dryer.
While the convenience of a fully-equipped kitchen was liked by the guests, many thought that many utensils, cookware and other items were in poor condition and overused. Often, basic items were missing from the shelves. In addition, guests were disappointed not to have basics like a phone, or having other amenities out of order in the room. Furthermore, most guests found the mattress to be uncomfortable and thought the beds need to be updated.
You will need a car to get around the area, and fortunately, there is free parking on premises. Even though the island is small, it’s quite hard to see it all on foot. Also, there is no shopping in the local area, but Grace Bay is only three miles away.
There are no elevators on site. Guests say steps are common on the property but the back parking lot has less of them.
