Guests said that the La Quinta Inn & Suites Ormond Beach - Daytona Beach is beautifully refurbished. They found the desk clerk and staff very friendly and helpful. They liked the easy access as the hotel is located off the Interstate.

Many guests commended on the rooms at the hotel as they found them to be large with a sitting area and two queen beds.

Guests traveling with pets said that their entire stay at the hotel was a happy experience. They found the hotel to be the best and cleanest pet friendly one they have encountered in the South.

Many guests state that the pictures depicted of the hotel in the website are false as there is no swimming pool or spa tub. Entrance to the hotel is actually not very appealing. Guests faced issues like tight parking and poor Wi-Fi connection in their rooms and in public places of the hotel.

The TV in the rooms picked up only one channel. The air conditioning was horrible in all rooms as it took forever to cool down the rooms. Though many guests found the beds comfortable, there was no comforter or blanket provided. Guests say that the breakfast provided needs a lot to be desired and some serious improvement. Food was meager and even the coffee ran out.

Several guests said that the location of the hotel is hideous. The hotel is behind two abandoned businesses; construction debris and trash was everywhere. Construction workers were walking around all the time. The hotel is way off the main road and about a mile away from an extremely busy truck shop. Guests said that they felt unsafe and were even afraid to park their vehicle in the parking lot.
