Situated in a great spot just off the Moreno Valley Freeway, La Quinta Inn & Suites Moreno Valley is a charming low rise property offering reliable chain hotel style accommodation. The rooms have warm and vibrant décor and are also very well equipped. Each features large flat screen TV with premium cable, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, microwave, minibar, coffee maker, alarm clock and telephone. While small, the indoor pool still offers guests the opportunity for a refreshing dip. There’s also a fitness center to keep your workouts on-track and a business center to help you prepare for that all-important meeting. A “Bright Side Breakfast”, consisting of waffles, cereals, muffins, fruit, bagels, eggs and beverages is served every morning. There are a huge number of chain restaurants very nearby, including a Chuck E Cheese and an Olive Garden. Avid shoppers will find the Moreno Valley Mall just a few hundred yards away.
A huge number of guests commented on the great shopping and variety of restaurants to be found nearby. Other than for businesses or other commitments, they never felt like they had to travel more than a mile in any direction for all their needs to be met.
It seems that the hotel has achieved the (near) impossible by selecting a mattress with near universal appeal. The beds garnered many compliments, with some guests saying it was like “sleeping on a cloud”, and very few complaints indeed.
It was pretty much impossible to find a bad word written about the staff. On the contrary, guest after guest complimented them on being extraordinarily welcoming and friendly.
While not mentioned often, it was pointed out that one couldn't access the property when heading east on Sunnymeade Boulevard due to a median, requiring one to head far past and then do a u-turn. Some found this a bit awkward.
While guests did appreciate having the pool available, they were not much impressed with its size. It was described as so small it was really only suitable for a quick dip, rather than for actual swimming.
Guests were not exactly impressed with the breakfast offered. Most described it as exceptionally basic, and lacking in the variety that would enable them to put together something they enjoyed. It was suggested that the addition of some hot food items like bacon and eggs would go a long way.
