While not often mentioned, it was reported that the rooms feature blackout curtains. Many guests can only sleep when conditions are very dark, and they certainly appreciated the ability to block out all light from outside.

Again and again guests would mention that they thought their room, and the public areas of the hotel, were both very well kept and maintained and also spotlessly clean.

Guests clearly liked that they didn't have to travel far to eat well. They said there was a decent selection of mostly chain restaurants nearby that offered a wide variety of cuisines. Shoppers were also happy with the two nearby malls.

The hotel does allow smoking in some rooms. While smokers applauded this, since they were then not banished to dark and forbidden alleyways, others were not so impressed. Some had been assigned a room that had obviously previously been occupied by smokers, despite booking a non-smoking room. Asthmatics should take note.

The breakfast was descried as fairly basic, and fine to get most people on the go, but those who were diabetic or on a low-carb diet mentioned that there was, essentially, nothing at all for them to have at breakfast.

Well, some rooms did have them, but only the suites. Some of those in the standard rooms sorely missed them. They had to be satisfied with warm beverages that should have been cold and limit themselves to room temperature snacks when setting down to their favorite show. It was most unsatisfactory.
