Hotel La Quinta Inn & Suites Ft. Pierce (Fort Pierce, USA)

Some guests were clearly surprised that a pet friendly hotel could be as clean as this one was. Guests seemed to have nothing but praise for the housekeeping staff, who were said to do an excellent job keeping all areas in tip top shape.

One or two guests commented that the no-smoking policy at the hotel gave them confidence that they would not somehow be assigned a room that had previously been occupied by a smoker..

While of course the hotels exceptionally pet-friendly policies did also create some issues, pet owners were delighted to be staying at a hotel that actively welcomed those with pets, rather than merely allowed them to stay.

Most guests did not think too much of the breakfast in general, but it was the line-ups at the self-service waffle irons that most seemed to irk them. They believed that the hotel should invest in another waffle iron, rather than have its guests standing in line forever.

While not really considered very dangerous, several guests mentioned the area was just a little seedy. Some believed it had a bit of a truck stop atmosphere, with marijuana smoking and some petty crime thought to occur in the area.

While, it was not often mentioned, it seems that the odd guest who was relegated to the sofa bed was not at all happy with the comfort it provided. While some where broken outright, even fully functioning beds were said to be too uncomfortable to be able to provide a good night's sleep.
