Hotel La Quinta Inn & Suites Florence (Florence, USA)

Guest after guest mentioned how welcome they were made to feel when they arrived with their pets in tow. They felt like the hotel really catered to pets and their owners, rather than merely tolerating them.

It seems that the hotel has achieved the impossible by selecting a mattress with very broad appeal. There were very few complaints indeed and many compliments, with guests saying that the beds were exceptionally comfortable, resulting in a great night's sleep.

One of La Quinta's signature breakfast items are waffles that guests get to make themselves. A couple of guests were clearly charmed by this. Even those who wouldn't usually have waffles for breakfast somehow found them on their plate.

Although not often mentioned, it was pointed out that there is a train line running right by the property. The freight trains passing by at night could clearly be heard in the rooms, causing light sleepers some distress.

The downside of the exceptionally pet-friendly policies was that dogs have a tendency to bark, even well-behaved ones. Several guests mentioned being disturbed by dogs left in nearby rooms barking away.

While generally happy enough with the hotel and its services, a few guests mentioned that the room-rate was just a little too high. They felt that it was somewhat poor value at the price they paid, but would have been completely satisfied had it been more reasonable.
