Hotel La Quinta Inn & Suites DFW Airport South / Irving (Irving, USA)

Going by the comments it seems many guests were using the hotel for a quick airport layover. They found the location of the hotel ideal for this purpose, since it was described as a very short drive, or convenient shuttle trip, away from the airport.

Whatever small problems guests may have found with the hotel here and there, its cleanliness was definitely not one of them. On the contrary, several guests said that both their rooms and the public areas of the hotel were kept spotlessly clean at all times.

Guests couldn't seem to say enough good things about the hotel's staff, especially those working at reception. While they were certainly described as welcoming and friendly, it was their accommodating behavior when guests needed a bit of help in a pinch that really seemed to impress.

While the superior rooms do have both a microwave and a refrigerator, the standard rooms lack these amenities. These seemed to be sorely missed by a few guests, especially the fridge.

It was hard to find a kind word written about the breakfast. At best it would be described as “OK”. Several guests felt that it offered nothing at all for those who were not keen on a basic meal exceptionally high in carbohydrates first thing in the morning.

While it was a little unclear what the source of the noise was, several guests did describe the hotel as being in a very noisy environment. It is close to a highway, so it was perhaps the sound of traffic passing by that disturbed them.
