Guests have commended this hotel on its spacious and spectacular rooms as well as its facilities. Rooms are convenient, comfortable and with their contemporary design and featured amenities, have been thoroughly appreciated by guests. The indoor pool and whirlpool provide for a relaxed and enjoyable time with guests also making mention of the well-equipped fitness center.

With staff being exceptionally friendly and helpful, an all-round pleasant atmosphere is created at the Wingate by Wyndham Raleigh North hotel. Staff members at the front desk have warm personas and are very welcoming. Guests are not made to feel as though they are an inconvenience in any situation.

Although a fair amount of traveling to desirable places of interest can be done without the use of extensive transport arrangements, the added convenience of a shuttle service to and from RDU airport, PNC Arena and a select few dining areas is also available.

This hotel, although offering wonderful facilities, has been criticized on the operational standard of these facilities. Guests have experienced algae in the pool and the whirlpool putting it in an unusable state. Power outages have been experienced too causing the indoor pool to be cold.

While many guests did have enjoyable stays in this hotel, there have been reports of difficult hotel reservation procedures. Guests have been made to stay on hold for long periods, sometimes up to ten minutes, and sometimes reservations have been incorrectly recorded causing problems upon the guests' arrival. In addition, online requests made have sometimes not been fulfilled.

Nearby this hotel are lots of different restaurants offering a range of fine cuisines. However, some guests have regarded the need to leave the hotel to find dinner as an inconvenience as there is no on-site restaurant.
