The décor may be a little basic, but the rooms are still well equipped. Each features TV, free Wi-Fi, coffee maker, hairdryer, clothes iron, telephone and alarm clock. The star amenities at the hotel have to be the indoor pool and hot tub, open all year round. There’s also a fitness center for those keeping in shape while traveling, and a business center to help you prepare for that important meeting. Motorists will find ample free parking on-site A simple but delicious continental style breakfast is served every morning, consisting of cereals, muffins, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, coffee/juice and La Quinta’s signature “do it yourself” waffles. Downtown Minneapolis is less than 13 miles from the hotel.
A couple of guests mentioned that they liked the convenience of being just off the interstate. It seemed to make finding the hotel initially that much easier. Also mentioned was that there was decent shopping and dining to be found just a short drive away.
Despite the fact that many guests had a couple of issues during their stay, most seemed to have only good things to say about the reception staff. They were described as exceptionally kind , and seemed to convey a genuine sense of understanding when dealing with a particular guest's issue.
There were very few complaints about noise. It seems that most guests were satisfied that their room was sufficiently soundproof, and that the hotel did not ordinarily attract inconsiderate guests who make a lot of noise.
