Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Detroit Utica (Utica, USA)

Guests were very impressed with the hotel's modern, comfortable rooms and the high level of cleanliness that was maintained throughout their stay. The rooms at this La Quinta Inn location are well-sized and can comfortably accommodate solo travellers or groups. The beds are similarly comfortable, with supportive mattresses, plush pillows and fresh bedding. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean by the diligent housekeeping staff who also ensure the bathrooms and the rest of the hotel are sparklingly clean.

The staff are extremely friendly and personable, going out of their way to provide excellent customer service; they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make guests feel at home during their stay and they will happily recommend places that might be of interest and the best way to get around the area. They will accommodate guests' needs and will respond to any request or query as quickly as possible.

The on-site swimming pool is large, heated and well-maintained. Many guests can enjoy this facility simultaneously due to its size and they can also do so year-round due to its location indoors. The on-site fitness facilities are satisfactory and similarly hygienic and clean.

A number of guests were disappointed with the complimentary breakfast and found the offerings to be bland and tasteless. Other guests found that there was not enough food to go around and that it was rarely replaced. However, some guests enjoyed the breakfast and found it satisfactory.

While many rooms are billed as non-smoked some guests found that previous guests did not adhere to this and that their room had a smell of stale cigarettes lingering in it.

Some guests booked this hotel specifically for its pool and were disappointed by the fact that it was not available to use during their stay. However, this is not a consistent problem.
