It was very rare to find an unkind word written about any of the hotel's staff. Guests generally described them as a delight to deal with, and possessing a polite and courteous attitude that was a credit to them and the hotel.
While there were one or two complaints surrounding cleanliness, the vast majority of guests felt that their room was very clean on arrival, and that the housekeeping staff did a decent job to keep it in tip top shape during the course of their stay.
Guests really seemed to enjoy using the pool. Although one or two said that the water was a little cold, most enjoyed taking a refreshing dip, or getting a few laps in as part of their exercise regime.
Guests couldn't explain exactly what it was about the location, but to many it felt just a little unsafe. The immediate area was said to be industrial and commercial, poorly lit and with little foot traffic at night, all leading to an uncomfortable feeling. The hotel's parking lot was also said to be patrolled by an armed security guard at night.
A couple of guests felt that, while clean, their room looked a bit worse for wear, with scuffs here and dings and scratches there. It may have had something to do with the hotel's pet-friendly policy, but whatever the reason guests felt it gave their room a bit of a down-market feel.
Though fairly rare, there were a few complaints relating to the Wi-Fi. Some guests explained that they had trouble establishing a connection, or that they were periodically disconnected. It was most frustrating for them.
