La Porta d'Oriente B&B is located in the historical Venetian Palace dating back to the 16th century (Palazzo Malipiero Trevisan) in the heart of Venice. It's just a 5-minute walk from St Mark's Square and less than 10-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge. It has3 guest rooms, very different from each other in size and fashion. The name of the B&B and the tastefully furnished style of the guest rooms are a tribute to Venice and its link to the Far East. The three guest rooms have the high ceilings that are fashion typical of Old Venice: some of them have rafters that are preciously decorated. The floor is mostly in original wood tiles from 1800. In the bright and huge hall that welcomes you, you'll be served your breakfast while through the four arches with colourful windowpanes and lead decorated windows you can admire Campo Santa Maria Formosa. The lobby faces to one of the most authentic "Campi" (Squares) of Venice: Campo Santa Maria Formosa, and over its canal where gondolas flow to the melody of Venetian serenades.
