The rooms are on the top floor of a historic building and are furnished and decorated in a light and breezy style. They feature all the amenities you’ll need, including free Wi-Fi and flat screen TV, so you can stay informed, entertained and connected. The hosts can arrange airport transfers and tours to one of the many fantastic sights around the Bay of Naples. A traditional Italian breakfast, consisting of sweet foods, is served every morning. La Peonia is barely 200 yards from Naples iconic Garibaldi Square, while archaeology buffs shouldn’t miss a chance to visit the Naples National Archaeological Museum, with some of the best collections of Roman artefacts to be found anywhere. It is just over a mile to the west.
It was rare to read a review that did not thoroughly praise the B&B's hostess, Analisa. She was said to be the consummate innkeeper, offering her guests a warm welcome and friendly demeanour. What most seemed to impress guests was her knowledge of the area, with many saying they received top tips from her regarding excursions to the many sights around the bay.
It seems guests were very impressed with the location of the B&B. It is just a couple of minutes' walk from Naples' main station, which made for an easy transfer for those arriving by train or airport bus, which also stopped very nearby.
The B&B is situated on the top floor of a building (with lift). As a result, it seems there are good views to be had from he rooms there. Quite a number of guests reported tat they could see Mount Vesuvius from their room. Of course they were delighted by this and it certainly left them in no doubt as to exactly where they were.
A number of guests highlighted the fact that the central location meant that they had to endure quite a bit of noise. The main problem seemed to be the traffic on the nearby city streets, which were said to be busy from early till late.
