Situated in the heart of Avalon, and just a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal, La Paloma Las Flores is a very charming property offering comfortable accommodation and a design reminiscent of New Orleans. The rooms are well furnished and decorated, with some having unique period pieces. They have all the practical amenities you’ll need, from flat screen TV’s to clock radios, while some even have fully equipped kitchens. La Paloma Las Flores has a gorgeous terrace garden that guests are welcome to enjoy. They also offer free Wi-Fi, so though you’re on an island you’re definitely not marooned. A small breakfast is served in the dining room each morning. The Lobster Trap is just a couple of minutes’ walk away and offers some of the town’s best seafood. The fascinating Catalina Island Museum is just 200 yards from La Paloma Las Flores. Those who would like to try out their luck will find the Catalina Casino just 900 yards away.
This was perhaps what guests most appreciated about the guest house. Many spoke of being enchanted by their design and décor, which seemed to transport them into another world. To some this was turn of the century New Orleans, while others simply felt that they were in a magical world.

They explained that it was in the very heart of the little town of Avalon and that they really didn't have far to walk to get to the town's best restaurants and shops.
