«LA GRANJA DEL COLCA» opened doors since July 2013. It is a very original ecological recreational place, patiently built for many years in the district of Cabanaconde, on the edge of the Colca Canyon, very close to the viewpoint of the Cruz del Cóndor. The facilities occupy a prominent part of the hill, from where you can see the immensity of the canyon. It has a large restaurant, 10 comfortable rooms with stunning views of nature. It is a place where domestic animals are also raised such as: rabbits, sheep, cows and horses, also poultry, among others. It is surrounded by extensive terraces where potatoes, quinoa, beans, quiwicha, fruit and aromatic plants are cultivated, among others. The abovementioned organic Andean products serve as a base for the elaboration of drinks and food to offer to the visitor, who have given us awarded with your best comments and recommendations. The recreational complex is a project carried out by local entrepreneurs, under the criterion of sustainable tourism, born of the passion to serve the travelers of the world, to offer them rest, comfort, adventure and satisfaction to the palate. We are located very close to the famous viewpoint of LA CRUZ DEL CÓNDOR, the access is facilitated by a pedestrian path and by a road of 1.5Km in length that starts at Km.9.7 of the main paved road. The recreational complex has more than 2 Ha of extension and its facilities have capacity to accommodate more than 200 visitors. It is surrounded by extensive gardens, fields and viewpoints, which will provide peace and tranquility and allow you to observe the exotic flora and fauna.
