Camping & Gîtes La Forêt de Tessé has a small campsite with 2 fully furnished canvas tents each with their own cooking cabins and a 1 bedroom gîte to rent. The camping field is completely separate from the gîte that has a separate entrance and a courtyard. We have 2 Bell tents that are set up in our large grass camping field. They are placed in such way that you will have the best view of the beautiful sunsets. Each tent is furnished with 1 king size bed and 2 single beds and cot if required. Bedding and electricity is included. Next to the tent is your own private cooking cabin with fridge, gas hob, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. You will also have a BBQ and picnic table. We try to provide everything you need for your camping holiday so if you fly and hire a car or ferry and drive to France all you need is your suitcase. Our house is adjacent to the campsite so if you need any help or advise one of us is always around. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries and food markets are within 10-15 minutes drive. There are lots of things to do for all age groups in the area. We have river or lake swimming and canoeing nearby or you may just like to relax by the pool or check out the local food markets.
