La Fattoria Bellandi is situated in Val d’Orcia, it is 14 Km far from Radicofani and it stands just outside the walls of Contignano, an ancient roman hamlet. It can be reached along the enchanting provincial road of Monte Amiata that links the Via Francigena to the mountain and crosses ancient secondary roads which lead to Pienza City and to the wonderful villages of Val d’Orcia. The landscape is characterized by its gentle hills and harsh badlands which break the grazing colours and the cornfields. Val di Chiana is also very near and accessible from here: Chianciano and Montepulciano are 20 minutes by car, for this reason Fattoria Bellandi can be the starting point for cultural and wine&food tours, for lone travelers, families or groups. The building in local stones is identified as Farm after the middle of the XVI century. La Fattoria Bellandi has become a tourist accommodation only a short while ago, during the 1990s, thanks to Radicofani Municipal Administration.
