The rooms have the light and bright décor typical of seaside properties, and feature all the practical amenities you’ll need for a great stay, from flat screen TV’s to air conditioning. The hotel is small and has few public amenities, but guests do enjoy relaxing on the grass verge right out front. Sometimes a barbie is even set up there. A simple continental breakfast is available every morning. There are too many dining options in Bilinga to mention for the other two meals. The hosts will be happy to offer recommendations. Bilinga Beach, less than 100 yards from La Costa Motel, must surely be the main area attraction, but those looking for calmer waters will find Tweed Heads and the marina just four miles away.
Guests were absolutely amazed with the location of the motel. It is in a side street very close to Bilinga Beach, and also just a few hundred yards from the airport terminal. There were many guests using it for both a beach break and a brief stopover when passing through the airport. They simply loved the convenience and very attractive and interesting surroundings.undings.
It seems that guests who booked here were not after the typical high rise blocks one finds along the Gold Coast, but something a little more traditional and personal. They described the motel as the perfect foil to the nearby towers, being just a couple of stories high and having a lovely weatherboard exterior that reminded them of a kinder an gentler age.
