Situated close to Seminyak’s restaurant and nightlife district, La Belle Villa offers exquisite villa style accommodation in a small boutique property. Each villa features one bedroom, a living/dining area and very peaceful private garden courtyard. Of course all the modern conveniences are also included, from flat screen TV’s with satellite channels to air conditioning. There is a lovely communal swimming pool and terrace, with more than enough sun beds for all. Reception staff are available 24 hours and can assist with local information, laundry and much else. Full body Balinese massage is available onsite. Security staff are posted overnight for your peace of mind. There are no onsite dining facilities, but each villa has a kitchen were guests can prepare meals and of course there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Reception staff will be only too happy to offer some great local recommendations. Seminyak Beach is just 1.2 miles from La Belle Villa.
A number of guests mentioned that the villas were very comfortable and well designed. They also said that they were quite spacious and allowed them to really stretch out and relax, with the private garden courtyards being especially popular spots.
It was very hard to find a bad word written about the staff. On the contrary, guests described them as very friendly, and seemingly always willing to go the extra mile to make sure their guests had all they needed to enjoy their holiday.
Guests generally felt that they had a good selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance of their villa. Those who had hired mopeds said that these of course allowed them to explore a few more distant areas as well, were there was a wider selection of cuisine.
This was perhaps the most common complaint. Of course Bali is in the tropics, which means that there are many bugs around. Guests seemed to have some trouble with the mosquitoes especially, and could not always control the situation with nets, sprays and so on.
A number of guests mentioned that they were not really comfortable actually swimming on the swimming pool. It was described as being fairly small, and also not the cleanest pool they had ever seen.
Guests mentioned that there were no utensils in the kitchen when they checked in. While these were available from reception, it seems some guests were not informed of this at heck in. Once obtained, there was some unhappiness with the quality of the equipment as well.
