Closely situated near the city centre of Cognac, L’Yeuse is originally a 19th century mansion, converted into a hotel in 1997. Built on the “Rocher de Cognac” (the rock of Cognac) it overlooks the valley of Charente, with the most spectacular views of the river and surrounding countryside. During the summer months, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be taken on the terrace. During the winter, put up your feet in our Cognatheque by the chimney fire with a glass of Cognac, and during the summer spend a relaxing moment or two at our swimming pool. The hotel has 21 spacious bedrooms and 3 suites, all with double or king size beds (twin beds on demand), bathrooms with bath or shower and separate toilet. A mini spa with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room is available from 10am until 8pm. Massages upon request. Our restaurant offers modern French cuisine from Tuesday to Saturday evening, and during the summer months also on Sundays and Mondays. The bistro is open from Tuesday to Friday and Sunday - midday to 1.30pm.
