Located just a two minutes' walk from the very centre of Chambery, Kyriad Chambery Centre offers chic and modern accommodation suitable for business and leisure travellers alike. Both standard rooms and apartments are available. All have very modern décor, and feature en-suite bathrooms, kitchenette, flat screen TV, telephone and free Wi-Fi. The apartments are larger and can accommodate more people. Reception is open 24 hours and can assist with tours, transfers, luggage storage and laundry. There is also a gym and wellness areas with massages available. There is a basic breakfast buffet available daily, while the nearby centre of Chambery has a large number of dining option to choose from for the other two meals. The hotel is just a very short walk from Chambery’s convention centre, so is perfect for business guests attending events there. Bourget Lake is just definitely worth a visit and is just 10 miles to the north.
It was undoubtedly the central location that guests most appreciated about their stay at Kyriad Chambery Centre. Again and again guests mentioned that they loved being just a few minutes' walk from the cafes, bars and restaurants of Chambery.
Several guests mentioned that they were struck by the excellent English language skills of the reception staff. They certainly didn't feel as if there was a language barrier that prevented their queries or issues being understood.
It seems the hotel has been recently renovated, and while the sleek and modern décor could never be to absolutely everybody's taste, most did seem to like it. They felt that they were in a stylish modern hotel, and that everything in their room worked as intended.
An extraordinary number of guests mentioned that they would have loved to park in the hotel's on-site underground parking lot, but that it was already fully booked. It was said that there were a very small number of bays considering the number of guests at the hotel. Early booking was recommended.
While there were one or two compliments, most guests did not seem to think very highly of the breakfast offered. The main problems seemed to be that it contained both very little variety and quantity, so it didn't give guests a good start to the day.
