Offering rustic bungalow-style accommodation, and set in its own tropical gardens, Koh Tao Garden is just yards’ from the beach and pier in Koh Tao.
The rooms are very basic, but have what you’ll need for a good night’s sleep. Each features private balcony, en-suite bathroom and fan.
Reception is on hand and can assist with laundry, booking tours and offering local information. The bungalows are situated in lovely tropical gardens, which guests are welcome to explore. Wi-Fi is free of charge and accessible in the public areas.
There are no on-site dining facilities, but the owners will be more than happy to offer excellent local dining recommendations. There are a number of cafes, bars and restaurants in the surrounding village of Koh Tao.
The main attraction is undoubtedly the beach, just a couple of minutes walk away.
It seems that many guests booked this property because it was close to the pier, were ferries can be boarded. Also, it was said to be close to the cafes, bars, restaurants and other amenities of Koh Tao, and of course the beach as well.

Exceptionally friendly and welcoming owners
It was the incredible friendliness of the owners and hosts that most seemed to impress the guests during their stay. More than one or two mentioned that they were the friendliest ad most helpful hosts they had ever encountered during their travels, even in-spite of the language barrier.

Surprisingly quite
Several guest that, though the resort is in a pretty central location, it is set back from the road and it really does not get any street noise to speak of. They certainly appreciated the calmness and tranquillity.

Problems with the bathrooms
While guest were typically happy with their bedroom, there were multiple problems reported regarding the bathrooms, including both cleanliness and functionality issues. They were also said to have exceptionally poor circulation.

Very poor Wi-Fi
Like in most hotels and resorts, the system at Koh Tao seemed to struggle to do what was asked of it. Guests mentioned that the system was very unreliable, and the signal too weak to reach all areas of the resort.
