Guests found Kihei Bay Vista’s location ideal for visiting Maui. The complex is convenient to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and shops. You can even get some quality retail therapy at the upscale shops in Wailea, only seven miles away. Guests also liked the condominium’s proximity to the beach and several parks.
Kihei Bay Vista boasts amazing accommodations. Guests were very impressed with the amenities provided in the apartments, and how spacious the rooms were. The full kitchen and the laundry area is especially convenient, as is the free onsite parking and free Wi-Fi access. Guests also loved relaxing on the furnished patio area.
Kihei Bay Vista features a lovely courtyard with a small putting green, a picnic area and BBQ grills. Guests highly recommend having a relaxing lunch there at least once during your stay. The grounds of the complex are very relaxing. In addition, there is also a variety of beach and snorkeling equipment available for guests use so you don’t have to worry about carrying your own.
While the apartments are air conditioned, the A/C unit itself is in the living room area. There is nothing in the bedroom. Guests say this faulty planning makes the bedroom a bit stuffy, especially if you sleep with a closed door.
The onsite pool is often viewed as small. While guests liked the pool area, the pool itself is better suited for a dip rather than actual swimming.
Kihei Bay Vista offers plenty of parking spots but guests say they are narrow and not suited for large cars. However, you will definitely need a car to get around the island so if you have the option, rent a more compact one.
