The hotel is tucked away in the Irish countryside and boasts picturesque views both from the rooms as well as the on-site restaurant. Guests appreciated the scenic surroundings but also found it extremely convenient being close to Dublin airport. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the airport which many greatly appreciated.
Guests were pleased to find that the size of their rooms exceeded their expectations and said that they had plenty of space to move around as well as to stow away their belongings. Many described the rooms as stylishly decorated with equally well-presented and modern bathrooms featuring up-to-date fixtures and fittings.
The food served at the on-site restaurant left a lasting impression on many of the guests who said that their dining experiences were the highlight of their stay. The dishes were described as being full of flavour and made from fresh local produce whilst the service was said to be attentive and courteous.
The hotel is a popular venue for parties and wedding receptions and some of the guests whose rooms were located close to the function suite said that they were disturbed by music and noise which often lasted until late in the evening .
Guests who wanted to sample the local bars and restaurants were disappointed to find that there were no amenities within walking distance of the hotel and that they had to drive or hire a taxi in order to reach the town centre.
The hotel advertises a complimentary shuttle to the airport yet some guests were disappointed to find that the service was not available at the time when they needed it even though they requested it in advance.
