The Ken Bridge Hotel is an 18th century Coaching Inn situated on the banks of the beautiful River Ken. The hotel has 10 en-suite bedrooms consisting of twins, doubles and family rooms which may be offered for single person use at a reduced rate. We also have a beautiful three bedroom barn conversation holiday home in a nearby village (1km) and a small campsite nestling on the banks of the river adjacent to the hotel. Our restaurant is open every evening from 5.15 to 8.30pm and also for Sunday lunch 12 to 2pm. A fine selection of beverages including cask ale and malt whisky can be enjoyed in our traditional bar or on our riverside terrace. The hotel is the perfect centre for exploring Dumfries and Galloway and Ayrshire. Local attractions include Galloway Forest Park, Galloway Dark Skies Park, Southern Upland Way coast to coast walk, The Red Kite Trail, nesting Osprey and Golden Eagle, The 7 Stanes Mountain Biking network (Kirroughtree), Loch Ken for fishing, sailing and water skiing and local estates offering Deer stalking. Sam Heuchan the male star from the hit series Outlander lived at the foot of Kenmure Castle and went to school in the nearby village of New Galloway.
