Hotel KC Beach Club & Pool Villas (Bophut, Thailand)

While the beach KC Beach Club is on is not exactly the deserted tropical beach of fantasy, it is nonetheless a great beach, and guests were happy to be right on it.

The hotel is a party hot spot, and certainly doesn't try to disguise this fact. Guests looking for a great party, day and night seemed happiest of all, while those looking for a quite beach break unhappiest. Several guests mentioned that they had a great time, and never even needed to leave the hotel to have a great time, island style.

The staff at KC Villas really seemed to live up to the nation's motto of “the land of smiles”. Guests mentioned that the staff were unfailingly friendly, and were always willing to help them out with their query or issue.

The hotel ropes off part of the beach as part of its exclusive beach club. While this deters most, it seems that some insistent vendors ignore it. Those not detected by the hotel's security can hassle guests by trying to sell them this or that. Since it was typically nothing they needed or wanted, or possibly illegal, it created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Guests pointed out that the rooms are built around a courtyard with one open side. Some didn't like this set-up since it meant looking right across to the rooms on the opposite side, which made some a bit uncomfortable.

Perhaps this was to be expected, but quite a few guests point out that the food and drinks at the hotel and beach club are quite pricey. Inevitably, as one of the top spots on the island, prices will be high.
