Wi-Fi is free of charge and available throughout the property. The on-site restaurant serves delicious Thai food, but also has a few international favourites available as well. The main attraction is perhaps Kata Beach, just 500 yards away, but Karon Beach is also lovely, and is just 1.5 miles to the north. Phuket Airport is approximately 29 miles north of Kata Lucky Villa.

It was hard to find a bad word spoken about the food from the on-site restaurant. While guests said it was nothing fancy, it was quite tasty and well presented. Also, most found the prices very reasonable indeed.
Without really giving specific reasons why, a very large number of guests stated that the pool was their favourite feature at Kata Lucky Villa. Perhaps they simply liked hanging around the pool relaxing, or being able to take a quick dip to cool down.
Many guests commented that the property was a lot quieter than expected. There were no reports of external noise disturbing guests at night.
The hotel is not right on the beach, but some way back. While this did not seem to be a problem for most, a sizeable minority thought that the 15 minute walk was just a bit too much to make repeatedly. They felt that a trip to the beach was just that, a trip, and the distance prevented them just dropping by when the mood struck them.
While not often mentioned, some did indicate that they found the décor just a little dated. Nobody seemed to have any problems with the state of repair, but some simply felt that the rooms were in need of at least a minor update.
Considering the number of international visitors, a couple of guests were surprised that there were only Thai stations on the TV. While adding your own personal subtitles when you don't understand the language is terrific fun, it is not everyone's cup of tea. Some would just have liked a channel or two in English.
