The Westmorland Inn is a traditional Lakeland inn situated perfectly in between Windermere & Bowness On Windermere villages and less than five minutes amble to Lake Windermere. We are pleased to offer 8 well appointed ensuite bedrooms all individually designed with two of these large enough to accommodate a family of three. Some of our rooms offer a view of Lake Windermere and across to the fells and mountains. We only use luxury toiletries in all our rooms and tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary Kendal Mint Cake and bottles of water for you to enjoy. For those special occasions through prior arrangement we are happy to provide a chilled bottle of prosecco with luxury chocolates or a bottle of champagne in your room for your arrival at an extra cost. In our cosy comfortable welcoming street level bar we have 5 real ales, premium lagers, a wide range of wines, fine spirits, a large excellent selection of Gins and a good selection of cocktails, we have a good local choice of drinks including some real ales from Jennings brewery, a selection of spirits from the Lakes Distillery including Whisky, Gin and Vodka and a local Kendal mint cake liqueur. We have a recently refurbished dining room on the ground floor offering a traditional pub menu with many homemade dishes, teatime special menus on weekdays, lunchtime 2 for £12 and a Sunday carvery served all day on a Sunday from 12 till 8pm for our locals, visitors and guests to enjoy. We serve lunchtime and evenings Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday. We also have a mezzanine level overlooking the dining room with comfy settees and chairs to enjoy a drink either before and after your meal or just to relax at anytime. We are excellently placed for all the amenities and attractions that the Lake District national park has to offer and in fact we are actually within walking distance to many of them including Beatrix Potter World, Lake Windermere Cruises and there are many walks from our doorstep for you to enjoy.
