Nice members of staff are very friendly + helpful. Rooms are cosy, welcoming and clean. Beds are comfortable and the journey from the airport is easy. What's not to like! There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby with prices that are reasonable.
Strangers to Prague find the fact that reception is covered at all times a real bonus. Problems and queries are sorted easily. The fact that members of reception staff speak excellent English is another plus point for many.
You can check in any time until midnight, without having to advise them in advance. Check out is a bit on the early side but you can leave the luggage there and pick it up later, if you want; so, that's OK really.
There's nothing here whatsoever. No dishes and no kettle anywhere in the building! You don't have to imagine not being able to boil water ... the reality is here! The kitchen is a disaster area. Rooms are OK though.
Everything has a price here and you pay through the nose for basics such as towels, hairdryer … and even a key! Not only is it unreasonable, there's no advance warning that this is their policy. You are, then, painted into a corner, because these items are absolutely essential. Makes you feel l like ... ‘jumping out'.
It's OK for transport links into the centre of Prague but you'll think twice before making the 30 minute walk on a regular basis.
