Hotel Josse offers modern, typically Mediterranean-style accommodation, just a minute's walk from the beach in Antibes. It's not too much of an overstatement to say that a number of guests were astonished by the size of their rooms. Considering they were in a fairly prime spot in the Riviera, right on the coast, and in a three star hotel they did not expect the rooms to be as large as they were.
Many were surprised, again, that their front facing rooms were fairly quiet at night with the windows closed, despite facing the coastal road just yards away. It seems that these rooms are well soundproofed.
Though not mentioned as much as one might expect, several guests did comment that they really liked being right by the beach. Also, the centres of Juan Les Pins and Antibes were within walking distance for most, and offered lots of interest themselves.
There was a fair amount of unhappiness as far as the breakfast was concerned. For a start many found it to be quite expensive, but then in addition the expensive price bought you a fairly meagre breakfast, with cooked options attracting a surcharge. In the end, since it wasn't usually included in their room-rate, many guests simply took their breakfast at nearby cafes.
It seems that the Josse didn't escape the curse of the hotel Wi-Fi. A large number of guests describe the service as very unreliable. Their connection was always being lost. In any event, guests with an urgent need for reliable connectivity might consider activating data roaming.
Motorists seemed generally unhappy with the parking arrangements. On-site parking was described as limited and very expensive. Motorists will have to plan carefully to make sure they secure nearby parking, especially in season.
