The independent family-owned, Javri Lodge is luxury and boutique adult only hotel, set some 250 KM North of the Arctic Circle in the wild landscape of Northern Finland. Javri Lodge was once the official winter home of Finland’s former President Urho Kekkonen. The cosy log chalet has since 2016 been transformed into a boutique hotel, where modern architecture meets traditional design while incorporating ecological and sustainable values. Javri Lodge is perfect for the ultimate private getaway with only 13 rooms on site. The rooms are furnished using natural materials such as oak, leather, wool and lambskin, and they all represent Scandinavian design aesthetics where attention to detail is beyond expectations. There are an in-house pool and two authentic saunas as well as inviting lounge and a restaurant. Curl up by the log fires before enjoying a seven-course fine dining paired with world wines. All menus are made from scratch each day, based on seasonal availability and are otherwise only limited by the chefs’ imagination.
