Good transport links into town.

There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, which provides easy access to the city centre. You can be there in 15 minutes. If you fancy a walk, you can do it in little over half-an-hour.

The guestrooms are comfortable and quite spacious for a major tourist city. The mattresses are quite comfy as well and, because the hotel is situated away from the middle of Edinburgh, it is fairly quiet here.

While the staff at Ivy Guest House are really friendly, they aren't always the easiest to locate. You might not encounter any hotel representatives other than cleaning staff after you check in for the entirety of your stay.

The car park behind the hotel is really cramped and the alleyway which leads to it is very tight. You might have to find a space on a side street, which isn't always easy.
