Guests staying at the Isles of Glencoe can take advantage of the hotel’s spa facilities and go for a swim in the indoor pool or have a work-out session in the modern and well-equipped gym. Traditional Scottish breakfasts as well as a wide variety of dishes made using locally sourced ingredients are on offer at the hotel’s restaurant whilst an extensive drinks list and light snacks are on offer at the bar. The village of Glencoe and the North Lorn Folk Museum are 1.4 miles away and Fort William is 24-minutes drive away.

Many guests agreed that the highlight of their stay was the wonderful view of the Loch and the surrounding mountains from the rooms as well as the hotel’s restaurant. There are no noisy bars or cafes nearby to disrupt the peaceful and idyllic countryside setting, so if you are looking for a place to relax then you won’t be disappointed.
The leisure facilities at the hotel were greatly appreciated by many of the guests who welcomed the opportunity of being able to relax after walking or hiking in the Jacuzzi or the hot tub. Many guests enjoyed using the pool and said that the leisure centre was clean and well–presented.
Guests enjoyed spending time in the lounge bar which was described as very comfortable with the open fire adding to the cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is said to have lovely views over the Loch and many guests thoroughly enjoyed having their meals there.
Much to the disappointment of some of the guests, the decor of the rooms was quite tired and in need of modernisation. Worn carpets and old fashioned furniture left many guests unimpressed whilst the bathrooms were also described as basic with dated and impractical fixtures.
The lack of a lift on the premises inconvenienced many guests particularly those whose rooms were located on the upper floors. Many objected having to carry their luggage up several flights of stairs without any assistance from the hotel staff.
Some guests complained about the lack of choice on the set menus and criticised the fact that there wasn’t enough Scottish dishes on offer at the restaurant.
