If guests do not wish to self-cater or have a quick BBQ in the dedicated BBQ area, there are a number of restaurant close by that reception can recommend. The Island Beach Resort is a 40 minute walk or ten minute drive from the SkyPoint Observation Deck and 15 minute drive into Surfers Paradises' Cavill Avenue. Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and Jupiter's Casino are ten minutes from the hotel. Coolangatta Airport is a 20 minute car ride from the Island Beach Resort.
The hotel is a stone's throw away from Pacfic Fair Shopping Center, Jupiter's Casino, the Broadbeach Mall and the beach and for many guests the proximity to these local attractions was the reason they booked the hotel and it did not disappoint.
The hotel offers its guest complimentary parking on the premisis and for many guests they were happy that this was included in the tarrif and that they did not have to pay extra for parking.
