Hotel Spanish Steps House Vittoria (Rome, Italy)

A number of guests were very happy with the service that they received from the hotel staff who were only too happy to help with directions and with recommendations of local things to do and to see.

The hotel is a short distance to the Spanish Steps and the Metro Line A which will take guests to all of Rome's major tourist attractions. The excellent location featured prominently across a number of guest reviews.

A number of guest reviewers mentioned how they enjoyed the free breakfast provided at the cafe across the street, with many previous guests commenting the the food was perfectly prepared, fresh and plentiful.

Some guests wrote reviews which catalogued a litany of maintenance issues that they encountered during their stay. Whilst maintenance issues were minor, such as broken fixtures, blown lights and leaky taps, taken together guests were not at all happy and their requests to have things fixed during their stay went largely unanswered.

Some visitors who booked the funky cube room were disappointed by its amenity, commenting how small and pokey it was in comparison to other hotel rooms they had stayed in previously.  This particular room featured across a number of negative reviews.

On arrival a number of guests were disappointed that the property was more of an apartment complex rather than a hotel with a proper lobby and hotel services. Some guests where confused as this is not what they had thought they they ha,d booked.
